According to your logic, the Palestinians should renounce their rights to Israel because of the massacres their great grandparents committed against our great grandparents.

In other words, nations are built out of people who live in it *today*, and the only way to live *today* in co-existence is to work with what we have right now. You say that we should let the Palestinians come back to their land? Okay, in that case, you say that Jews may live anywhere within the greater Palestine, too, right?

Wrong. The Palestinians need their *own* state. A state that will belong to them. The hatred within the two cultures is too great for any possibility for Jews and Palestinians living in the same land. We can be neighbors, but we can't live on the same neighborhood. Second, 30 trucks filled with humanitarian aid is 30 trucks more than any other nation in the world would give the Palestinians. Not acknowledging this is disgusting. You give their lives less respect than I do by scorning the help we give them, and it is shameful to be so ungrateful. We don't have to help the Palestinian civilians, that's not "our problem" during the war. But we do it anyway because we believe that they shouldn't suffer because of their crude leadership.

I've studied history during high school, I even matriculated in it. No where did I study (and I studied foreign books written by foreign researchers who investigated Israel) that Israelis killed and then stole. Israelis came here and built farms and huts. We wanted a home in which we weren't being harassed (like we were in Arab and European nations). And this was the best thing we could find.

Zionism is merely the Jewish version of nationalism. To say that Zionism is racist is to say that every nation is racist because it's meant as a home for its people. Racism means hating civilians of the same nation because of their race (and we have that in Israel, as it exists everywhere) - racism has nothing to do with a nation's right to be a home for its own people. According to your logic, Egypt is racist because it intends to be a home for the Egyptian people and not for Americans.

And no, the fighting will not stop before one thing and one thing alone happens: Hamas stops firing rockets. Period. If you guys want to stop fighting, stop firing rockets. Sure, the occupation will result in some random bloodshed because Israel does not trust the Palestinians to stay peaceful (based on the past experience, I can't blame my country) - but at least we won't bomb the Palestinians to hell.

We want peace. We have an entire political coalition pushing for peace. We have Israelis pushing for peace incessantly, to say we do not want peace is to be so detached from reality, that you see nothing but hatred.

We are not demons, we're just scared. Stop firing at us, and we will talk, and you will have your nation, and we will trade and help that nation.

Giving the Palestinians humanitarian aid is propaganda? That's simply disgusting. The food and medicine are real, not imaginary. When we had a cease-fire with Hamas, they're the ones who kept breaking it. What's so hard about keeping your word? Have the Hamas no honor, that they say something and do another? Up until now, we weren't inside Gaza, and this gave Hamas time to do what? To make more rockets and fire them at us.

All we want is for the Palestinians to stop firing rockets. Then we'll talk, and after we'll talk, we'll try to give all that the Palestinian want. We understand the plight of the Palestinians, we want to give them a chance for a fair co-existence with us, but if they ever want to make it in the modern world, they're going to have to stop using violence as a means. Violence achieves nothing, and it is that violence that compels us to fight with violence.

The Palestinians refused peace from the start. They threw everything they could at Israel, form the start. If they just helped themselves from being arrogant, stubborn, malign idiots in the first place, we wouldn't be having this war, and the Palestinians would probably have a LOT more territory than they do today. We never intended to capture so much territory, we never WANTED it, either. We were doing just fine.

The Jews who came here came from Europe, with the enlightenment, financial support from Europe, and superior technology. This is not theft, this is not genocide, this is merely one people trying to build itself a home in a place it always felt it belonged to. I realize that this place was already home to some other people, but we never took it by force until we were attacked, and by then, it was too late.

I do not believe that Israel is worse than the Nazis. The Nazis committed atrocities against the Jews that are horrific and cannot be denied. This is not a measure of who is more culpable. Israel has been carrying out a systematic campaign of land confiscation, terrorization, starvation, mass exile, economic strangulation, isolation and killing of an entire people based on their ethnicity (purely because that ethnic group happened to be living on the land that the Jews fleeing from persecution in Europe and elsewhere wanted to grab), and all the while trotting out propaganda about the sub-humanity of this Palestinian population. I am not constructing straw men or exaggerating an argument. You say that Israelis and Jews did not receive an eternal “Get out of Jail Free Card”. Numerous UN resolutions call on Israel to withdraw from occupied lands, stop building settlements, etc (I’m referring to UN resolutions, seeing as it’s a neutral body). How does Israel respond to these resolutions? By doing exactly as it pleases, building more settlements, restricting Palestinian movement further, and annexing more land. Have you heard of one nation that has pressed Israel to comply with UN resolutions? One nation, Jack, one! If that doesn’t constitute a Get out of Jail Free Card, I don’t know what does. Why does no one press Israel on anything it does? No, Jack, its not a complete mischaracterization and gross misuse of the word Nazi to use it in relationship to Israel. Last time I checked, only God was infallible (by the way, I respect yours and anyone else’s right to reject the existence of God altogether – God’s infallibility is my own belief system), so no, the Jewish people did not receive a lifetime exemption from fallibility for having suffered during the Holocaust. I have no intention of stepping around on tiptoes around the issue of Israel’s Nazi policies to avoid offending anyone’s political correctness. Nazi policies of denying a whole people a right to exist, of driving people from their homes, of creating millions of refugees in exile, of confiscating peoples’ land and homes, of imprisoning millions in giant prisons called Gaza and the West Bank, of starving millions, of killing people on a daily basis; I could go on and on about the similarities between Israeli and Nazi policies.

Yes, Israel physically “left” Gaza, but continues to control it tightly, cutting off all lifelines to the strip, at whim. So Israeli policies created the situation in Gaza; resistance to occupation has been ongoing for 50+ years, long before Hamas came to be (its creation encouraged by none other than Israel to weaken the PLO at the time). So please take your shallow clichéd responses elsewhere to people so intent on political correctness and fear of being labeled anti-Semites that they refuse to speak the truth at the expense of the truth and humanity or to people so intent of hatred of all things Arab and Muslim that they would side with anyone. In either case, neither group of people seems a very trustworthy long-term partner for Israel and definitely not for the Jews.
