No, I don’t mean those skin-head psychos that spray paint-swastikas on Jewish graves and pledge allegiance to equally psychotic ideologies. I mean the present-day Nazis that are shelling an entire population in Gaza. Who knew that the heirs to the ethnic genocidal policies of the Holocaust would be the Jews themselves? And have they perfected those policies! While the Jews during the Holocaust could appeal to the humanity of people around the world to rise up against the horrific genocide being perpetuated against them and rally to their help, the Israelis of today have basically guaranteed that no similar sense of moral justice will be afforded to the Palestinians, through 50+ years of a campaign to dehumanize and demonize the new victims. The Israelis managed to drive home the belief that the Palestinians are terrorists to a world that is already burdened with the guilt of its anti-Semitic past.
Instead of standing up for justice and humanity as values that would safeguard them and any other people that may fall victim to ethnic genocide in the future, the Israelis decided to make short term gains by capitalizing on their situation and robbing another people of its land, humanity and dignity, forgetting that world is a funny thing and what goes around, comes around. Justice and humanity are far more lasting than current power structures.

"I think I was unprepared for war"
Now I’m placated – the poor thing didn’t anticipate war. Bush campaigned to be president because he thought the president’s sole responsibility was to throw the opening pitch at the World Series. But war? That falls in the realm of the unexpected when you’re at the helm of a super-power.
