“What a lot of nonsense! Get the teacher back into the class doing the job she is meant to do. Is it any wonder people dont wish to become involved with them? It has got to the stage everyone is terrified to breathe in case Muslims get upset. It has gone beyond a joke now.”
That’s a comment a reader made in response to an article about Gillian Gibbons, the jailed British teacher in Sudan who was accused of insulting Islam by allowing her students to name a teddy bear “Muhammad”. She faces a punishment of 40 lashes and six-month jail term.
I tend to agree with some of the things this reader has said.

Syria blocks Facebook
Reuters has published an article on blocking Facebook in Syria - I dont have much to add or say, except to thank God that our youth are now perfectly safe from this evil conduit for Israeli penetration!

Conflict Classes
Havent blogged for a long while – but thought I should share this. Can’t decide if I should laugh, shake my head in disbelief or cry. In light of the meaningless violence around us, maybe I should do all three.
