Conflict Classes

Havent blogged for a long while – but thought I should share this. Can’t decide if I should laugh, shake my head in disbelief or cry. In light of the meaningless violence around us, maybe I should do all three.

That's a very interesting story Lujayn.
I really have no specific personal reaction to it. I have almost lost all sensitivity to the news, may be that's the reason.

I think we have all become desensitized - but this particular story was so ironic. To think, 30 masked guys, who regularly kill and wage war, are learning the ethics of war. The same applies, of course, to the other side of the conflict. There just isnt any ethics to war, period! Why pretend it can be made more humane? Anyway....

Funny ha? I actually thought it was some article taken from the onion website.
On a second thought though, I don't see what's wrong in this? I mean these warriors are going to fight either way, so if they can show some ethics along with the conduct of war, why not? ;)

DJ, you're right, these guys are going to fight anyway - might as well work on creating a more humane and civilized outcome, eh? :)

Yala, post something, I've been enjoying your posts a lot lately - very stimulating topics.

Thanks Lujayn, I'll post something soon inshllah, I am still feeling down in the dumps after vacation (you know the home sickness and all). That should probably vanish soon.
